Jim Longmuir was guest of honour at the May (Burgh) Ball hosted by Irvine Incorporated Trades on Friday 16th May 2008 in the Menzies Irvine Hotel. This was in recognition of his service to The Boys' Brigade in general and 2nd Irvine in particular. Mention was made also of the work done by Mari and others in the family.
